Let’s start with why four-star and not five. Upon installation of this – Evinrude/Johnson/OMC Solas, I noticed the alloy is not as hard as the original Black Max that I replaced, which might mean this propeller may wear out faster. On the plus side, extremely easy installation fit like a glove. Took my boat out and test drove it, found the propeller to be correct pitch and true balance. Clocked my boat at a +5 miles per hour faster than the old prop when trimmed out. All in all, I’m pretty happy with this propeller, would recommend.

The (13 x 15″) was a perfect replacement for my 2006 Yamaha 60hp. I’ve noticed a nice improvement in performance, especially at higher speeds.
Patricia Wright –
Looking for a prop for my 2004 Merc 40 HP 4 stroke. This is the OEM pitch and diameter for those outboards from the factory. Not stamped Mercury or Quicksilver, but solid construction and a really affordable option to have on-board if you need to swap props and get home. Could consider including the locknut and tab washer, but it’s still a great price for peace of mind with the Evinrude/Johnson/OMC.
Daniel Martinez –
The 4 was a perfect fit for my 2013 Yamaha 60hp. Installation was a breeze, and the boat now runs much smoother and faster.

Just swapped out my old prop for the Amita 4 – on my 2013 Honda 60hp. Easy to install and much smoother on the water.
Ethan Clark –
After trying several props, I settled on a spitfire merc. Replica prop 11 pitch 4 blade. Then after an extended heavy 4′ bay chop run from Pensacola Beach to Gulf Shores wide open and yes, 3-4 cross chop, a blade snapped off from fatigue. The boat picked up 3 mph and a couple hundred rpm. I then decided to try a 3-blade 10 5/8 x 12 pitch. The boat runs 31 mph at 5950 loaded with upgrade 9-gallon tank, full Yeti, and adult passenger. Almost 0 porpoising; however, I did install spring-loaded tabs from Bennet. Also, the hole shot is instant and planes at 15.5 mph.

The RH Propeller, was the perfect replacement for my 2010 Honda 50hp. The boat runs smoother and accelerates much quicker now.
Edward White –
Fit on my Mercury 25hp Bigfoot 2005. All good.
Margaret King –
Looks good and fit fine but the performance was terrible on the RH Propeller,. I used it for a few months and noticed my boat was struggling to get on plane. It was the exact same diameter and pitch as the OEM, so it took me a while to figure out it was due to the prop. I replaced it with what I had on originally and even with the nicks, chips, and slightly bent blades, my issue was gone. Now I’m stuck with this p.o.s. What a waste of money.
Grace Green –
