I haven’t done anything too crazy. In fact, I’ve only taken the boat out twice with it. It… hasn’t fallen off yet, so that’s good. Coming from a 4-blade prop, my top speed is about 2 mph faster with a 40hp outboard.

Honda Solas is an excellent replacement for my old prop. It fits my 2014 Yamaha 75HP perfectly and has given me a noticeable performance boost.

This is not a Flo-Torq prop like the Mercury OEM, and has a slightly different offset. Used without a thrust washer, it would rub and bind, and re-using the front thrust washer for the stock prop put it about 3/16 inch further back than the stock prop. That said, it is the correct pitch for my motor, and allowed me to reach full revs and gave me 3-4 more MPH. Still trying to figure out if there is a thrust washer that puts this prop in the correct spacing.

Replaced an old Mercury Black Max with a chipped blade. The Amita 3-E Plus fit well and worked, but did not perform nearly as well. This prop has deeper blades with more surface area than the one I replaced, bogging my 40hp Force engine, lowering RPMs by over 400, and losing 5 mph. Will get an original Black Max and keep this as an emergency backup.
