Important Compatibility Notes

If your motor uses an 8-spline drive shaft, select the stub shaft version and purchase the upper driveshaft from an authorized Mercury dealer.
The SEI 216 gear case is supplied with the correct water tube coupling for SN OG438000 and higher. For earlier serials, use your old coupling or order part #96-116-12K.
