What is the difference between a New Lower Unit (NEW) and a Remanufactured Lower Unit (REMAN)?
A New Lower Unit (NEW) is completely brand new, built with 100% unused components, and comes directly from the factory. It has never been used before and typically carries a full manufacturer warranty. In contrast, a Remanufactured Lower Unit (REMAN) is an original OEM core that has been professionally disassembled, inspected, and rebuilt with new or refurbished components to meet or exceed original specifications. REMAN units are thoroughly tested and offer performance comparable to new ones but at a lower price.
